Participatory Ict Developments During The Agricultural Sector

It is through participatory approaches, researchers from ARIs provide agricultural information services for enhancing farmers to make rational decisions concerning agricultural production and post-harvest practices (Mtega and Malekani, 2009). The use of ICTs in dissemination and communicating agriculture research output to the rural farmers and other actors remains to be important. The participatory ICT developments in the agricultural sector can be achieved only if agricultural researchers and Government organizations can learn from farmers by using the participatory approaches (Joseph and Andrew, 2008).
